Gua Sha Massage Tool is perfect to use with the Secret Weapon Serums and the Cleansing Balm as part of your daily routine.

Gua Sha is a traditional Eastern Asian practice that translates in English to “scraping the pain away”. This practice has been adapted from a full-body vigorously detoxifying treatment to a beautifying relaxing ritual for the face, neck and decolletage. Healing crystal stones are gently stroked across the skin to encourage lymphatic flow, increase circulation, and smooth + lift the skin.
What are the benefits of gua sha?
  • Promote blood circulation
  • Improve fine lines and wrinkles
  • Promotes lymphatic drainage
  • Relieves tension from muscles

Gua Sha- How to use -

The Back

Before your massage, you can apply your favourite serum, oil, moisturiser, or sheet mask. The roller will help with the absorption of vital ingredients. The roller can also be stored in the fridge prior to use for an extra cooling effect.

Using the upper side or ‘top of the love heart’, drag the Gua Sha up the back of the neck using firm pressure. When you reach the hairline, use pressing motions on the area of the neck which feels most tense. Repeat this sequence.

The Jaw

With the gua sha on its side, use the ‘top of the love heart’ to make sweeping motions across the jawline. Start at the chin and move the tool upwards towards the ear. Repeat this sequence before moving to the opposite side.

The Cheeks

Using the longest side of the Gua Sha, to massage the cheekbones. Start just above the mouth and to the side of the nose and drag the tool upwards, following the contours of the cheekbones, towards the hairline using medium pressure. Repeat this sequence before moving to the opposite side.

The Eyes

Use the longest curve of the ‘love heart’ to massage the under-eye area. Place the Gua Sha flat against the inner corner of the eye and use gentle pressure to sweep outwards towards the hairline. Repeat this sequence before moving to the opposite side.

The Forehead

Place the smaller curve of the ‘love heart’ underneath the eyebrow and the longer curve above the eyebrow before suing sweeping motions following the shape of the eyes out towards the hairline. Use gentle pressure.
